Malamulo College Winter Project 2025

Malawi Adventist University Malamulo Campus Students on Sunday cheered and donated assorted items worth over 3.5 million kwacha to communities under Group Village Headman Mafunga in Thyolo Thava.

Speaking after the donation, students chaplain of Malamulo College of Health Sciences Dr Pastor Thumbalamoto said this is part of their annual “Winter project” aiming at enhancing the spirit of giving among students.

He hailed the students and the university community at Malamulo for contributing to the project while calling on Malawians to join hands in assisting one another in time of need.

The donated items included 170 blankets, 50 mats, clothes, sanitary pads, maize flour, soya pieces, usipa, cooking oil and exercise books among others.

Group Village Headman Mafunga described the donation as a relief to his subjects; saying the these, especially the blankets, are much needed during cold weather.
