The Chaplaincy Office

MCHS CHAPLAINCY

Our Mission

The Chaplaincy is committed to fostering an environment where students, staff, and faculty can grow in their relationship with God while strengthening values of compassion, integrity, and service.

  • Organize worship services, vespers, and prayer meetings.

  • Provide spiritual counseling and personal guidance.

  • Facilitate Bible study groups, spiritual retreats, and week of prayer events.

  • Offer pastoral support during times of joy, challenge, or crisis.

  • Encourage active involvement in community service and outreach programs.

MCHS chaplaincy life is dynamic and inclusive, providing opportunities for every student to participate. Whether through singing in a choir, leading a prayer group, or engaging in mission activities, students are encouraged to strengthen their faith and positively impact others.

The chaplain is available to walk alongside students and staff in times of personal difficulty, offering a listening ear and spiritual encouragement. All conversations are treated with respect and confidentiality.

Community Outreach

At MCHS, chaplaincy goes beyond worship and personal spiritual growth—it extends to service in the community. We believe that true faith is best expressed through acts of kindness, compassion, and service to others.

Visiting hospitals, orphanages, and vulnerable communities with donations and encouragement.

Students and staff partner with local communities to provide health education, screenings, and wellness programs.

Collaborating with local churches, schools, and organizations to make a lasting positive impact.

Testimonials

"The chaplaincy has been a safe space for me throughout my time at MCHS. Whenever I felt overwhelmed with studies or personal challenges, the chaplain was there to guide and encourage me. It reminded me that I am never alone, and my faith has grown stronger every day."

"What I love about the chaplaincy is how it brings us together as a family. From morning worship to week of prayer, I’ve experienced spiritual growth and fellowship. These programs have helped me find balance between academics and my walk with God."

Hastings
